Priscilla & Scott's Wedding - Dominion Country Club, San Antonio, Texas

This was my first solo destination wedding. I have been shooting as an assistant these past 2 years. And previous years I was the primary shooter with a friend for a few weddings, however a huge break came in between those first years and now. I've learned a lot during that time, and with the help and guidance from fellow photographers who've been so brave to take me on as an assistant, I am incredibly blessed! I thankfully had backup assistance from my Sister who is getting to learn about wedding photography. Katzy Serrano (aka: Mr. Potpie, post below) assisted with the shots taken in the locker room of which they locked me out of. So I'm very thankful he was able to get a camera in there. All in all it was a memorable experience and a blessing all in one. 

Here's how the wonderful couple met:

Once upon a time... not too long ago... Scott casted his eyes on this beautiful Latina. She drew his gaze into wonders, and when the time was right he asked for her number. When he sang her his love song, she laughed, smiled, and returned with a heart felt hugs. They went out for dinner, and both ordered a dish that contained olives. Little did they know, both of them HATE olives. Soon they found so many other similarities such as dislikes for mushrooms, same music tastes, and a love and faith in God that blew the minds of everyone around them. 

I met Scott while we were children in diapers. We grew up together in the church, so I practically know him all my life. His passions have been encouraged, and his heart has flourished during the time he's met Priscila. Priscila, you have done wonders through school, moving on to P.A. school, and graduating magna kum lade in high school. I am so blessed to capture your wedding day, to be enculturated into your family, and to smile every time I eat a mushroom. (LOL!) 

You're going to have a blessed and fruitful life. I believe in you guys, and pray all the bests for you!
