Happy Birthday Grandmama!

My grandma. One of the most amazing women I know. She's always telling me, "find yourself a handsome husband who will love you, cause that's all that will matter". She's always looking out for my well being even when she's feeling at her worst. Lately she's been dealing with a very serious back pain that caused her to be reliant on heavy painkillers and even to the point of getting shots to numb the pain. She's usually very pain resistant, however this time the pain was just too much to bear. I've been praying for her, and just wish that I wouldnt have to see her suffer so much. 

Yesterday when I visited her she was expressing to me when the pain was so bad sometimes she'd wish that she rather die than to go through this pain. All I could do was be strong for her, cause really all I wanted to do was cry... 

She told me that old age only comes with pain and suffering. She was showing me all the medications she had to take for her eyes, back, blood, heart, etc etc.... and it was so many medications I just felt a great burden from just hearing about it. Before leaving her home I prayed for her with my sister, and after she kept saying "thank you Jesus". I tried to keep back my tears. HOpefully in a while sooner, she'll feel better and healed. 

Grandmama you are amazing and I love you. Thank you for feeding me, dressing me, and taking care of all my needs. Although I'm now much older than 20 years ago, I still remember all that you did for me. I love you.
