Past Blog Posts

Its been...

A wild roller coaster these past few months. Wow I've neglected this blog so much! But i'm back! And i'm ready to get it going again! School was taking over my life, and so were family situations that drew me away from one of my passions. It stripped me of any motivation of blog, or even further my longing to do something in photography. But i'm back on my feet, God's been gracious, and i'm going to get this ball rolling again!
A few things I've been involved in ... and here the LIST goes. YES I have a list! But it's amazing;
- Bobby Brown Photography: Bobby's been instrumental in helping me get my feet wet with wedding photography! It's such an amazing experience shooting with him! He has this patient and loving quality about him that allows his clients to be at total ease when having their pictures taken. That's a quality acquired only by a professional! Thank you Bobby for taking me in to assist you! I've been so blessed!
- Wing Ministries: "Women Imparting to the Next Generation" I've been speaking to a dear friend, mentor, and sister who leads this ministry, and soon (monday) I'll be getting introduced to this amazing ministry for women! Its going to be absolutely amazing!
- Selah Fellowship: This is my home church. I've been attending here all my life, and recently we've started to get involved in online media. This way people can involved in our weekly happenings. It's not much for now, but I know as we remain faithful in doing what God calls us to do, surely it will reap fruit in the long run!
- Christina Cho Photography: Incase you havn't checked it out yet, I have a website up! Yay! I'm hoping to get a fuller webpage up by next year, but with the looks of a heavy school schedule ahead of me, it will have to be during the summer of 2011. You can contact me at my new email address: christina@christinacho.com if you have any questions or just want to say hi!
- Jenny Silks: This is a silk flower company i've been working at for the past 2 years, and it's where I learned many of my lighting skills. I have to give some of my aspirations to utilize light in more innovative ways, and to also to find the best side of anything and anyone. Really taking a look at the details in things. Shooting macro and still life is challenging because you cant instruct it to move certain ways, so you have to be it's mover. And in doing so these past 2 years, I've been able maneuver people more easily to find their best sides.

Btw, did I mention that I found my cheese? ... That will be explained in a later blog :]
Recently I hung out with a great friend from childhood. She's involved in several ministries that focus allowing people to know, understand, and experience the Love of God! www.tammydao.org Check it out when you have a chance!
A bit about Tammy... well if you want to go back to the old days... wow... she was interesting. Lol! There's this one picture of her I vividly remember where she's wearing a white and red polka dot dress! Kind of like a mini- Minnie Mouse! Haha, but we've grown with each other and apart from one another throughout the years so much! Whenever we meet up it's like never ending story telling. It's amazing. Thanks for being a part of my life Tammy! I love you!

Here are some portrait shots that we took while at The Lab.
